Bertha's Beach
- Travel from Stanley to Bertha's Beach in approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on road and weather conditions.
- Explore one of the Falkland Islands' most scenic coastal areas.
- Walk along the white sandy beach and observe a large seasonal Gentoo penguin colony in its natural habitat.
- Enjoy panoramic coastal views with excellent wildlife spotting and photography opportunities.
Lady Elizabeth Shipwreck
- Back in Stanley, view the historic Lady Elizabeth Shipwreck on the way to Gypsy Cove.
- Learn about its history as a three-masted iron barque built in 1879 in Sunderland, England.
- Discover how it became a floating warehouse in Stanley Harbour before running aground in 1936 during a storm.
- See the remaining skeletal structure, now a landmark reflecting the islands' maritime heritage.
Gypsy Cove
