Opening Hours: To ensure we don't miss a thing, please note that Lalbagh Fort is closed on Sundays, Ahsan Manzil on Thursdays, and Chawk Bazar is quiet on Fridays. Some mosques may pause briefly for prayers, but I’ll handle the timing to keep our flow smooth.

The Best Time to Visit: For the best light and coolest breezes, September to March is magic. If you’re visiting in the summer (April–June), don't worry-I know all the best shaded spots, and we’ll take plenty of refreshing breaks.

The Dhaka Traffic: Our traffic is legendary, but we’re smarter than the gridlock! We’ll use a mix of walking and local rickshaws to zip through the alleys, ensuring we spend our time at the sites rather than in a car.

Physical Pace: We’ll walk about 3–5 km throughout the day. It’s mostly flat and broken into short, easy segments with plenty of stops to soak in the atmosphere.

Dress Code & Respect: To respect our local heritage, please wear modest clothing that covers shoulders and knees. Light cotton is your best friend in this climate. Also, slip-on shoes are a lifesaver for easy entry into mosques and homes.

Comfort Breaks: Your comfort is my priority. I’ve vetted clean, reliable restroom stops along our route so you never have to worry.

Friday Vibes: On Fridays, the city moves to a different rhythm for Jumu’ah prayers. I’ll reorder our stops so we can still experience the best of the city without the crowds.

Eat with Confidence: I only take my guests to trusted, hygienic local restaurants. I’ll provide bottled water throughout the day, and if you’re curious about street food, I’ll show you exactly which ones are safe and delicious.

Safety First: The river is beautiful, but it deserves respect. Life vests are mandatory during our boat rides—no exceptions, because your safety comes first.
