Day 01

Arrival in Colombo and Transfer to Sigiriya

  • Receive a warm welcome at Colombo Airport from your driver-guide and proceed to Sigiriya.
  • Check in and relax at your hotel in Sigiriya for an overnight stay.

Day 02

Sigiriya Sunrise and Cultural Kandy

  • Depart early at 5:00 am to climb Sigiriya Lion Rock and enjoy a panoramic sunrise view.
  • Return to the hotel for breakfast before travelling to Kandy.
  • Visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Temple, on the way.
  • Attend a traditional Kandy cultural show in the evening from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
  • Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic in Kandy.

Stay overnight in Kandy.

Tea Country Journey to Ella

  • Travel to Ella via Nuwara Eliya after breakfast.
  • Visit a tea factory and plantation to learn about Sri Lankan tea production.
  • Experience a scenic hill country train journey from Nuwara Eliya to Ella if desired.
  • Explore Ella with a trek to Nine Arch Bridge and Little Adam's Peak.
