Description
Our tour will start at the meeting point at Ohrid Square, near the statue of St. Clement of Ohrid. After that, our route will lead us through the narrow cobblestone streets of the old town, where we will first stop by the House of Robevci, probably the most famous house in the old town. Right after that, we will stop for a short presentation at the Museum of Handmade Paper. Next, our path will take us to the Church of Saint Sophia, one of the most important churches from the Byzantine period. Moving on, we will begin to go uphill and stop by the Ancient Theatre to learn more about its over two-millennia history, before we visit the Church of St. Mary the Virgin of Peribleptos for some beautiful views of Samuel Fortress and Lake Ohrid. From that point, we will continue our journey towards the Church of St. Clement of Plaoshnik. It is a true masterpiece that will leave you stunned and speechless. Lastly, as a cherry on top, we will climb to the Church of St. John the Theologian (Kaneo) for some of the best views in Macedonia—a view that you won't be able to forget—after which we will walk along the lake and end our tour.
