The itinerary

1

Day 01

Arrival at Lapamar Ecolodge

• Arrive at Lapamar Ecolodge, where you will be welcomed by the friendly staff.
• Enjoy an exquisite dinner, then rest well for the energy-filled day ahead.

Day 02

Hike from Los Patos to Sirena Biological Station

• 4:30 am. Enjoy a nutritious breakfast.
• 5:00 am. Depart for Los Patos station by private transportation.
• 6:00 am. Upon arrival at Los Patos station, check in and use the sanitary facilities.
• 6:15 am. Start the adventure with a short introduction walk in Corcovado National Park. The walk is approximately 26 km, a beautiful journey lasting around 8 to 10 hours.
• 5:30 pm. Delight your palate with a delicious dinner at the Sirena Biological Station restaurant. Rest in the comfortable chairs located in the station corridor.

Day 03

Wildlife Trails and Crystal-Clear River Experience

• 6:30 am. Have breakfast.
• 7:30 am. Start the tour along some trails where there is the possibility of observing Curacao Turkey, Granaderas Pavas, El Puma, Cabritos de Monte, the four monkey species in Costa Rica, La Danta, cocodrillos, and more. This tour lasts approximately 3 hours.
• 12:00 am. Eat a boxed lunch and take a nap.
• Embark on a river journey famous for its crystal-clear waters, where you will swim for a maximum of an hour and a half.
• 4:00 pm. Return to the Sirena Biological Station.
• 5:30 pm. Enjoy dinner at the station.

Day 04

Forest and Beach Walk to Carate

• 6:30 am. Eat breakfast.
• 7:00 am. Begin a walk of about 20 kilometres, lasting around 7 hours. This walk takes you through the forest and along the beach.
• 2:00 pm. Arrive at Carate, where you can delight your palate with a cold soda and rest for 2 hours. Then continue on an approximately 2-hour journey to Puerto Jiménez.
• Take the bus that will transport you to La Palma.
• Take a short 15-minute walk to Lapamar Ecolodge.
• Enjoy an exquisite dinner at the lodge.

Day 05

Farewell Walk and Tour Conclusion

• Eat breakfast and go for an unforgettable stroll to conclude the tour.
