Day 02

Phnom Kulen and Beng Mealea Adventure

• Travel to the Old Khmer City and Phnom Kulen (Kulen Hill / Mahendraparvata).

• Visit the sacred reclining Buddha and footprint, and see ancient carvings along the riverbed, depending on the water level.
• Cool off at Phnom Kulen Waterfall and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.
• Continue to Peung Tbal, an impressive site of sandstone bas-reliefs. A short forest trek is required. Rock Art Sanctuary.
• Visit the hidden jungle temple of Beng Mealea, rediscovered by the French in 1860.
• Drive back to Siem Reap and relax at your hotel.
