Day 01

Sinaia, Bran Castle and Brașov Highlights

  • Depart from Bucharest towards the Prahova Valley, crossing the oil-rich fields around Ploiești.

  • Visit the mountain resort of Sinaia, also known as the "Pearl of the Carpathians".

  • Continue to Sinaia Monastery, a sample of Byzantine art in the Wallachia region and the first construction in Sinaia.

  • Explore Peleș Castle, the summer residence of King Carol I and one of the most beautiful castles in Europe.

  • Head towards Bran to visit Dracula Castle. Built in the 14th century, the castle protected the border between Wallachia and Transylvania.

  • Visit the enchanting town of Brașov, founded by the Transylvanian Saxons in the 12th century.

  • Take a walking tour through Brașov's historical area, including Council Square and the Black Church, the largest Gothic building in south-eastern Europe.
