Diani Beach/Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park
Early Morning Departure
Pick-up from your hotel in Diani Beach or Mombasa at around 4:30 – 5:00 AM. Drive toward Tsavo East via the Mombasa–Nairobi highway, enjoying sunrise views along the way.
Morning Game Drive
Enter Tsavo East through Bachuma or Sala Gate and begin your game drive. Look out for the park’s famous red elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species.
Midday Break & Lunch
Arrive at a lodge (such as Voi Safari Lodge or Ashnil Aruba Lodge) for lunch and relaxation. Enjoy views overlooking the plains or waterholes where animals often gather.
Afternoon Game Drive
Continue with another game drive en route to the park exit, increasing your chances of spotting more wildlife.
Return to Coast
Exit the park in the afternoon and drive back to your hotel in Diani Beach or Mombasa, arriving in the early evening.
