Full-Day Itinerary God’s Eyes Cave and Iskar Panega Eco Trail
- Meet the team in Sofia at the parking behind Alexander Nevsky Cathedral or at a pre-arranged pick-up point.
Depart from Sofia and drive towards Lukovit for approximately 1.5 hours.
Arrive at the starting point of the Iskar Panega eco trail.
Begin a scenic hiking trek along the eco trail.
Walk alongside the Zlatna Panega River and observe the blue milky waters and unique rock formations.
Continue the trek through diverse landscapes, including canyons, caves, and riverside paths.
Pause for a picnic in the tranquil surroundings of the Panega area.
Visit the famous stone houses near Lukovit.
Continue trekking towards Prohodna Cave, known as the God’s Eyes.
Explore the cave and observe its natural openings and impressive structure.
Enjoy a short break in the cave area.
Board the coach and begin the return journey.
Arrive back in Sofia and Plovdiv.
