The walking areas around Fontanelle and Montichiari are mostly flat, with gentle inclines near the outdoor Way of the Cross.

Comfortable walking shoes and modest clothing are recommended.

The sanctuary welcomes visitors year-round; however, the best time to visit is during Marian feast days or special pilgrimages (July 13, October 13, and December 8).
