Itinerary

1. Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park and Rhino Tracking

   • Get picked up from your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe and begin the journey north towards Murchison Falls National Park.

   • Stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an on foot rhino tracking experience guided by expert rangers.

   • Have lunch en route before continuing the drive to the park.

   • Enter Murchison Falls National Park through the Kanyambugu Southern Gate.

   • Arrive in the evening and check in at Sambiya River Lodge or a similar lodge.

   Enjoy dinner at the lodge.

2. Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Bottom of the Falls Boat Cruise

   • Wake up early for a morning game drive across the vast savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park.

   • Spot wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, antelopes and many bird species during the game drive.

   • Return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.

   • Head to the Nile for a boat safari to the bottom of the falls along the Victoria Nile.

   • Observe hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes and birdlife along the riverbanks during the cruise.

   • Witness the powerful Nile squeezing through a narrow gorge before crashing below at the base of the falls.

   • Choose to enjoy an evening mini game drive or relax in the park surrounded by nature.

   • Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Top of the Falls Experience and Return

   • Visit the top of the falls in the morning and watch the powerful Nile River force its way through a narrow rocky gap before plunging below.
   • Enjoy breakfast at the top of the falls while taking in the stunning views and the sound of the roaring water.
   • Check out after breakfast and begin the journey back to Kampala or Entebbe.
   • Arrive later in the day at your hotel or the airport.
