Day 01
Nairobi National Park, Elephant Nursery and Giraffe Centre
Morning - Nairobi National Park & David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust
- Depart from your Nairobi hotel after breakfast, around 7:30 AM, and drive to Nairobi National Park for a guided game drive.
- Spot lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, rhinos, and a variety of birds with the city skyline as a dramatic backdrop.
- After the game drive, visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. From 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon, join the orphaned elephants for their midday mud bath and milk feeding.
- Observe the elephants up close, learn about their rescue and rehabilitation, and watch their playful interactions under the guidance of the Trust's staff.
Midday - Giraffe Centre
- Proceed to the Giraffe Centre, home to endangered Rothschild's giraffes.
- Feed the giraffes from raised platforms, take memorable photos, and learn about ongoing conservation efforts.
- Visitors may arrange lunch on their own at a nearby café or restaurant if desired.
- Following the Giraffe Centre visit, transfer back to your Nairobi hotel in the late afternoon, around 4:30-5:00 PM, concluding the full-day experience.
