Itinerary

1. Full-Day Explore Victoria Falls Rhino Walk and Game Drive Experience

   • 7:00 AM – Hotel Pickup in Livingstone: Your guide and driver will collect you from your hotel lobby in Livingstone. You will sign waivers for the walking safari and receive a short safety briefing before departing for Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

   • 7:30 AM – Arrival at Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and Game Drive: Enter the park and begin your open vehicle game drive. The morning is the best time to see wildlife active while exploring the park searching for zebras giraffes warthogs baboons various antelope species including impala waterbuck and bushbuck as well as a variety of birds and possibly buffalo.

   • 8:30 AM – The White Rhino Walk: Meet your armed park ranger and leave the vehicle to begin tracking endangered white rhinos on foot through the bush. Your guide will interpret their behaviour and tracks as you approach them for a safe close encounter.

   • 9:30 AM – Continued Game Viewing: After the rhino walk rejoin the vehicle and continue exploring the park. The guide may take you to the banks of the Zambezi River to look for elephants or crocodiles or visit the Old Drift cemetery which marks the original colonial settlement site.

   • 10:30 AM – Depart Park and Return to Hotel: Your morning safari concludes and the vehicle will drive you back to your hotel.

   • 11:00 AM – Arrive Back at Hotel: You will have the rest of the morning free to relax. You may have an early lunch at your hotel change into lighter clothes and swimwear if you plan to visit the Knife Edge Bridge or later go to the pool reapply sunscreen and prepare your camera for the falls.

   • 1:30 PM – Hotel Pickup for Falls Tour: Your guide will collect you again from your hotel lobby for the second half of your adventure.

   • 1:45 PM – Arrival at Victoria Falls Zambian Side: Arrive at the entrance to Victoria Falls within the rainforest area where your guide will handle the entry formalities.

   • 2:00 PM – Guided Tour of Victoria Falls: Begin your walking tour of the falls along paved paths through the lush rainforest stopping at sixteen viewpoints. You will witness the Main Falls the primary curtain of water the Boiling Pot where the river churns at the bottom of the gorge and the Knife Edge Bridge which offers spectacular cross sectional views of the falls and the Eastern Cataract. Be prepared to get wet because the spray from the falls is intense.

   • You will typically spend about one and a half to two hours exploring the falls before your guide drives you back to your hotel.
