Day 02
Doğubeyazıt to Camp I at 3,350 m
- Transfer by minibus in the morning to Eli or Cevirme Village.
- Begin the trek toward Camp I at 3,350 m.
- Trek for approximately five hours while horses or mules carry the baggage.
Have dinner and stay overnight at Camp I.
Day 03
Acclimatization Hike to Camp II
- Eat breakfast at the camp.
- Trek to Camp II at 4,100 m and return to Camp I for acclimatization.
- Spend about four hours trekking during the day.
Have dinner and stay overnight at Camp I.
Day 04
Trek to Camp II at 4,100 m
- Eat breakfast at Camp I.
- Trek to Camp II at 4,100 m in approximately four hours.
- Allow horses or mules to transport the luggage.
- Spend the afternoon preparing equipment for the summit attempt.
Have dinner and stay overnight at Camp II.
Day 05
Summit Climb to 5,137 m and Descent
- Begin the ascent early at 2 a.m.
- Climb toward the summit using equipment required for glaciers and perennial snow above 4,500 m.
- Reach the summit of Mount Ararat at 5,137 m after approximately five to seven hours.
- Descend to Camp II to rest, eat, and pack equipment.
- Continue descending to Camp I and stay overnight.
Day 06
Descent to Village and Return to Doğubeyazıt
- Descend from Camp I to Eli or Cevirme Village in about three hours.
- Transfer back to Doğubeyazıt.
- Visit Ishak Pasha Palace as an optional activity.
Stay overnight at a hotel in Doğubeyazıt.
Day 07
Departure Airport Transfer
- Transfer from Doğubeyazıt to the airport in Igdir or Agri for departure.
