Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park to Karatu

   • Enjoy early morning breakfast followed by a meet and greet with the customer service representative.
   • Depart with picnic lunch for a direct drive from Arusha Town to Tarangire National Park.
   • Experience a game drive in Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant population and impressive baobab landscapes.
   • Observe herds of elephants roaming freely, families of elephants around ancient baobab trees, and wildlife feeding on acacia bark.
   • Enjoy scenic views of the Maasai Steppe and distant mountains while exploring the park.
   • Drive in the evening to the lodge in Karatu for dinner and overnight stay at Farm of Dreams Lodge.

2. Day 2: Karatu Area to Serengeti National Park

   • Enjoy early breakfast and depart with picnic lunch for a drive to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while enjoying a game drive en route.
   • Look out for the Big Five including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos, along with other wildlife such as hippos, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, hyenas and Thomson’s gazelles.
   • Explore the Seronera area, known as a wildlife rich region where thousands of animals can be observed and where the great wildebeest migration may be seen depending on the season.
   • Enjoy another afternoon game drive in the park before dinner and overnight stay at Enkirari Wilderness Camp.

   Main destination: Serengeti National Park

3. Day 3: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Enjoy early breakfast and depart with picnic lunch for another game drive in Serengeti National Park.
   • Look out for the Big Four including lions, elephants, buffaloes and hippos along with many other wildlife species.
   • Depart in the afternoon for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area via the historic Olduvai Gorge, known as the cradle of humankind where early hominid remains were discovered by Louis Leakey.
   • Visit a traditional Maasai Boma to experience the culture and lifestyle of the Maasai people.
   • Continue with a game drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area while travelling to the lodge near the Ngorongoro Crater.
   • Arrive for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Safari Lodge.

4. Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town

   • Enjoy breakfast before descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the Eighth Wonder of the World.
   • Explore the vast caldera formed by dramatic geological movements that created the Great Rift Valley.
   • Enjoy a game drive inside the crater while observing a wide variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, hyenas, Thomson’s gazelles and more than 400 bird species.
   • Continue the game drive until late afternoon while searching for the Big Five.
   • Ascend to the crater rim and drive back to Arusha for drop off at the hotel of your choice.
