What to bring

  • Comfortable walking shoes or sneakers (the ground at the tunnels can be uneven and dusty).
  • Sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and sunglasses.
  • Essential for the lush gardens.
  • Light, breathable clothes. If you plan to crawl in the tunnels, wear something you don't mind getting a little dirty.
  • A small folding umbrella or a light raincoat (especially during the rainy season from May to November).
  • A fully charged camera/phone and a power bank.
  • Some Vietnamese Dong (VND) for souvenirs, the firing range, or small personal purchases along the way.

Know before you go

  • This tour involves walking on uneven forest paths. Crawling through the tunnels is a thrilling experience but completely optional. There are emergency exits every 20 meters if you feel uncomfortable.
  • If you suffer from severe claustrophobia (fear of enclosed spaces) or high blood pressure, we advise you not to enter the narrowest parts of the tunnels.
  • Please be aware that the Cu Chi Tunnels site has a live firing range. You will hear loud gunfire in the background during your visit.
  • The firing range is optional. If you wish to participate, the cost of bullets is not included, and you must be at least 18 years old and in good health.
  • The drive from Saigon to Cu Chi takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the city's famous traffic. We use high-quality AC vehicles to ensure your comfort.
  • Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a bit of dust or dirt on. If visiting during the rainy season, a light poncho is recommended.
