Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

   • Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport.
   • Meet your professional safari guide and transfer to Under the Shade Safari Lodge.
   • Optional city tour of Arusha, including Cultural Heritage Art Gallery, local markets, and Maasai Market.

   Accommodation: Under the Shade Safari Lodge

   Meals: Breakfast included (Lunch & dinner not included)

2. Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • After breakfast, drive approximately 2 hours to Tarangire National Park, known for large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.
   • Enjoy a full-day game drive with picnic lunch while spotting- Elephants, Lions, Giraffes, Zebras, Leopards, Buffalo, Antelopes and diverse birdlife
   • Drive to Karatu in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

   Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge

3. Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

   • After breakfast, drive towards Serengeti National Park via the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands.
   • Stop at the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint for panoramic views.
   • Continue with a game drive en route to your camp, enjoying a picnic lunch along the way.
   • Arrive in Serengeti for an afternoon game drive and sunset viewing.

   Meals: Full board

4. Day 4: Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

   • Spend a full day exploring the vast plains of Serengeti, home to: Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Wildebeests and Over 500 bird species
   • This day offers excellent chances to see the Big Five.
   • Optional activities (extra cost):
   • Hot Air Balloon Safari
   • Walking Safari
   • Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

5. Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands

   • Start with an early morning sunrise game drive when wildlife is most active.
   • Enjoy breakfast in the bush.
   • Continue with another game drive before heading to Ngorongoro Highlands.

   Accommodation: Ngorongoro Serena Lodge / Ang’ata Ngorongoro Camp

   Meals: Full board

6. Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

   • Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the world and home to the rare black rhino.
   • Wildlife you may spot: Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, Flamingos, Hippos, Hyenas and Rhinos
   • Enjoy a 5-hour game drive with picnic lunch.
   • Later, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

   Accommodation: Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge

   Meals: Full board

7. Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park – Return to Arusha

   • After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive.
   • Wildlife and highlights you may encounter: Tree-climbing lions, Flamingos, Elephants, Giraffes, Zebras and Monkeys
   • After the game drive, return to Arusha or transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
