Day 01
7-Hour Cave Tubing and Maya Cave Exploration
- Depart from your hotel and transfer to the cave tubing site.
- Arrive at the entrance area and receive a safety briefing and equipment.
- Begin a guided hike through the rainforest toward the cave system.
- Walk for approximately 45 minutes at a comfortable pace while learning about the ancient Maya presence in the area.
- Arrive at the river entry point and prepare for tubing.
- Enter the water and begin floating downstream into the cave system.
- Stop midway to explore the cave on foot.
- Observe ancient Maya remains such as ceramics, carvings, and traces of ritual activity.
- Resume tubing and continue floating through the limestone caves.
- Exit the river near the parking area.
- Change into dry clothing and relax before departure.
- Transfer back to your hotel and conclude the 7-hour experience.
