Day 01

Arrival and Relaxation in Arusha

Meet and greet at the airport by a Jairos Adventure staff member.
Transfer to your accommodation in Arusha for check-in and rest.
Spend the evening unwinding and preparing for the safari ahead.
Enjoy the natural surroundings of Arusha from your centrally located lodge.

Day 02

Tarangire Game Drive from Arusha

Depart from your Arusha accommodation in the morning with your safari guide.
Travel across Maasai plains with views of acacia trees and local Maasai communities.
Enter Tarangire National Park and begin a game drive.
Observe large elephant herds and diverse wildlife, including zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, and antelope.
Explore seasonal swamps, savannah landscapes, and the Tarangire River.
Drive to your accommodation after the game drive for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03

Journey to Ndutu in the Southern Serengeti

Travel after breakfast to the Ndutu region within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Observe large herds of wildebeests and zebras between December and April.
Continue wildlife viewing before heading to the camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 04

Full-Day Wildlife Viewing in Ndutu

Depart after breakfast for a full-day game drive in the Ndutu region.

Experience the calving season around January, when predators are especially active.
Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 05

Ngorongoro Crater Safari and Transfer to Karatu

Depart after breakfast with an en route game drive through the Serengeti plains.

Observe wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and possibly the rare black rhino.
Exit the crater after lunch and drive to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 06

Lake Manyara Game Drive and Return to Arusha

Travel after breakfast to Lake Manyara National Park.

Depart the park after lunch and return to Arusha in the late afternoon.
End of the safari experience.

Know before you go

This tour starts and ends in Arusha.
The operator can help select your international or domestic flights, but you must book them yourself.
Fly to/from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - check price) near Arusha, or fly to/from Arusha Airport (ARK - check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya).
A transfer from and back to the airport is included.
Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
