The itinerary

Day 01

Arusha to Tarangire Game Drives

Pick up from your resort in Arusha with lunch boxes.
Drive to Tarangire National Park.
Enjoy game drives through savannahs, seasonal wetlands, and along the Tarangire River.
Spot large elephant herds, lions, leopards, and other wildlife.
Transfer to the lodge after the game drive.

Day 02

Journey to Serengeti and Full-Day Wildlife Viewing

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park.
Enjoy wildlife sightings during the drive.
Stop for lunch at a suitable location inside the park.
Continue with afternoon game drives before reaching the camp.
Spend the following day on full-day game drives within the park.
Observe vast plains filled with migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest.
Look out for resident predators, including lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Day 03

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater Safari

Breakfast at the camp.
Drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with lunch boxes.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
Spot buffaloes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, rhinos, and diverse birdlife.
Ascend from the crater and transfer to the lodge.

Day 04

Lake Eyasi Hadzabe and Datoga Cultural Experience

Breakfast at the lodge.
Drive to Lake Eyasi.
Meet the Hadzabe tribe and join them during traditional hunting activities.
Visit the Datoga tribe and learn about their blacksmith skills.
Walk around Lake Eyasi and visit the local village.
Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 05

Lake Manyara Game Drive and Return to Arusha

Breakfast at the lodge.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park with lunch boxes.
Enjoy a game drive through forested areas, lake shores, and open grasslands.
Look for tree-climbing lions and large baboon colonies.
Transfer back to Arusha, where the safari ends.

Know before you go

This tour starts and ends in Arusha.
The operator can help select your international or domestic flights, but you must book them yourself.
Fly to/from Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO - check price) near Arusha. Or fly to/from Arusha Airport (ARK - check price) via Dar es Salaam or Nairobi (Kenya).
A transfer from and back to the airport is included.
Additional accommodation before and at the end of the tour can be arranged for an extra cost.
