Kahun Danda Hike with Pokhara Valley Views and Temple Visits

Our agents will pick you up from your hotel in a private vehicle and drive toward the starting point of the hike. Upon reaching the Yellow Bridge (New Seti Bridge) near Nadipur, the vehicle stops, and your Kahun Danda hiking adventure officially begins. After crossing the bridge, you will turn left and continue the hike with your guide toward the Fulbari region.

From Fulbari, it takes approximately 2 to 3 hours of hiking to reach the summit of Kahun Danda, situated at an altitude of 1,444 meters. Along the trail, you will walk through rhododendron forests, lush woodlands, traditional settlements, and culturally rich surroundings, all while being immersed in pristine natural beauty. These scenic landscapes and peaceful environments accompany you throughout the hike.

Upon reaching the top of Kahun Danda, you are rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of Phewa Lake and the entire Pokhara Valley. In addition, the majestic Annapurna mountain range dominates the horizon, offering breathtaking Himalayan scenery. A view tower located at the summit provides an even more impressive bird's-eye perspective of the surrounding landscapes.

Unlike Sarangkot, Kahun Danda is far less crowded, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery at your own pace. You can sip tea or coffee at the hilltop restaurant while soaking in the tranquil atmosphere and capturing memorable photographs.

After spending quality time at the viewpoint, you will begin your descent via a different route, ensuring the return journey is just as rewarding. The downhill trail takes you through several spiritual and cultural landmarks, adding a religious and cultural touch to the hike. You will visit Kahun Kot Durga Temple and Mahadev Mandir, two lesser-known yet significant sites of Kahun Danda.

Continuing downhill, you will explore Durga Temple at Karki Danda, followed by a visit to Matepani Gumba, whose unique architectural design is sure to leave a lasting impression. From there, a short climb up the stairs brings you to Bhadrakali Temple, another important religious site in the Pokhara Valley.

At the conclusion of your Kahun Danda Hiking from Pokhara, the Marvel Treks representative will be waiting at the base of Bhadrakali Temple to transfer you back to your hotel, marking the end of a rewarding and scenic day hike.
