Itinerary

1. Day 1 – Arrival in Ashgabat & City Tour

   Arrival at Ashgabat International Airport.

   • Meet & greet, assistance with visa formalities (if required).
   • Transfer to the hotel, check-in, and time to rest.
   • Begin your city tour of Ashgabat — renowned as the “white-marble city” and holder of multiple Guinness World Records.
   • Visit the famous Akhal-Teke horse farm: 
     • Meet the legendary Akhal-Teke horses, one of the oldest and most beautiful breeds in the world.
     • Learn about their cultural importance and take memorable photos.
   • Free time for relaxation or an evening walk around the city.
   • Overnight: Hotel in Ashgabat

2. Day 2 – Old Nisa, Karakum Desert & Darvaza Gas Crater

   • Breakfast at the hotel.
   • Visit Old Nisa — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most significant archaeological sites of the Parthian Empire.
   • Drive to the Karakum Desert (approx. 3–4 hours).
   • Arrival at the legendary Darvaza Gas Crater, also known as the “Door to Hell.” 
     • Explore the surrounding desert landscape.
     • Walk around the crater at a safe distance.
   • Enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the burning crater — one of Central Asia’s most unforgettable natural sights.
   • Dinner near the crater.
   • Stargazing in the peaceful desert environment.
   • Overnight: Traditional yurt or tent camp

3. Day 3 – Departure

   • Breakfast at the desert camp.
   • Return to Ashgabat in the afternoon.
   • Visit one of the local markets:
     • Altyn Asyr Bazaar — the largest and most famous bazaar in Turkmenistan
     • Gulistan Bazaar — also known as the “Russian Bazaar,” offering a more local atmosphere

   • Alternatively, visit a modern shopping center for souvenirs.

     • Free time for last-minute exploration.
     • Transfer to Ashgabat International Airport.
     • End of the tour.
