The itinerary

Day 01

Snorkeling and Lagoon Sightseeing Adventure in Placencia

Stop at the dive shop to pick up your snorkel equipment.
Take a 20-minute boat ride to a private island.
Unload the boat, listen to the island briefing, and prepare to go snorkeling.
Your tour guide will brief you on the type of marine life to look out for, snorkeling techniques and etiquette, and how to safely enter and exit the water from the boat or shore.
Return to the island for a lunch break.
Cruise through the mangrove lagoons around the island, looking for manatees and wading birds.
Head back to the island to load up and return to Placencia at 4:00 pm.
