Xochimilco Chinampa Farm and Trajinera Experience
- Meet at the designated meeting point at 08:00 in the morning.
- Travel by private transportation to downtown Xochimilco.
- Walk through the streets of Xochimilco toward the canal area.
- Board a traditional trajinera and travel through the canals to reach the chinampa farm.
- Enjoy scenic views while learning about the history of Xochimilco from a local guide.
- Arrive at the chinampa farm and begin a guided visit of the agricultural land.
- Learn about the agroecological methods used for growing fresh vegetables.
- Interact closely with rabbits, cows, ajolotes, and goats living on the farm.
- Harvest fresh produce directly from the chinampa.
- Prepare a fresh salad using vegetables harvested from the farm.
- Enjoy a tasting of artisanal agroecological goat cheeses made with milk from the farm.
- Travel back by trajinera and private transportation to the original meeting point.
