Day 01
Golden Hour Chobe River Boat Safari
- Pick-up and briefing - You will be picked up from your lodge or accommodation in Kasane and transferred to the river jetty.
- Meet your guide for a short introduction to your cruise and receive a safety briefing before boarding.
- Board the boat and depart - Step aboard your comfortable safari boat and begin gliding along the Chobe River, entering Chobe National Park.
- Enjoy uninterrupted views of riverside wildlife and scenic river landscapes.
- Wildlife viewing from the water - Drift quietly past riverbanks where large herds of elephants gather to drink, bathe, and sometimes swim.
- Spot pods of hippos in the water and on sandbanks, and watch Nile crocodiles basking along the shoreline.
- Observe abundant birdlife, including kingfishers, fish eagles, herons, and many other species along the river corridor.
- Relaxation and photo opportunities - Spend the duration of the cruise in relaxed observation, taking photos and enjoying uninterrupted wilderness views.
- Your guides will highlight key sightings and provide insights into animal behaviour and river ecology.
- Return to the jetty - After three hours on the water, the boat returns to the jetty.
- You will then be transferred back to your accommodation in Kasane, concluding your safari adventure.
