Day 1: Colombo or South Coast to Yala
- Get picked up from your hotel or airport at 07:00 and begin the scenic drive towards the deep south.
- Stop for lunch along the way at approximately 12:30 at your own expense.
- Arrive near Yala National Park around 14:30 and check in near the park.
- Choose to join an optional evening jeep safari at Yala National Park between 16:00 and 19:00.
- Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay near Yala National Park in the Yala or Tissamaharama area.

Day 2: Yala Safari and Return
- Wake up early at 05:00 in preparation for the morning safari.
- Experience a morning jeep safari from 05:30 to 09:30 which offers the best wildlife sightings.
- Return to the hotel for breakfast at around 10:00.
- Check out at approximately 11:30 and begin the return journey at 13:00.
- Get dropped off at your hotel or airport between 18:00 and 19:00 depending on location.
