Itinerary

Day 1: Debark to Sankaber (3–4 Hours Trek)
- Arrive in Debark and complete registration at the Simien Mountains National Park office.
- Meet your professional guide and armed scout.
- Drive to the park entrance and begin trekking to Sankaber Camp.
- Enjoy sweeping escarpment views and encounter your first Gelada monkey troops.
Overnight camping at Sankaber.

Day 2: Sankaber to Gich (5–6 Hours Trek)
- Trek through the impressive Jinbar Waterfall viewpoint and the dramatic Gich Abyss.
- Cross highland meadows and Erica forests rich in birdlife.
- Arrive at Gich Camp in the afternoon.
- Optional sunset hike to Kedadit viewpoint.
Overnight at Gich Camp.

Day 3: Gich Exploration and Acclimatisation
- Enjoy a full day acclimatisation trek to Imet Gogo and Saha Gorge.
- Take in some of the most dramatic viewpoints in the Simiens.
- Return to Gich Camp for a second night.

Day 4: Gich to Chennek (7–8 Hours Trek)
- Trek through the scenic Enatye viewpoint, known as “Mother of the Sun.”
- Spot Walia ibex along the cliffs approaching Chennek.
- Arrive at Chennek Camp surrounded by spectacular highland scenery.
Overnight camping at Chennek.

Day 5: Chennek to Bwahit Peak and Return to Debark
- Begin an early morning hike to Bwahit Peak for extraordinary sunrise views.
- Descend to Chennek and drive back to Debark.
- Optional visit to the base of Ras Dashen if time allows.
- Tour concludes in Debark in the afternoon.
