Port Moresby to Popondetta and Kokoda Station
- Take a local flight from Port Moresby to Popondetta.
- Drive for four hours by local vehicle to Kokoda Station, where the trek begins.
Day 03
Trek to Isurava
- Begin trekking towards Isurava.
- Camp overnight at Isurava.
Day 04
Trek to Eora Creek
- Continue trekking to Eora Creek.
- Camp overnight beside the creek.
Day 05
Trek to 1900 Campsite
- Trek through rugged terrain to the 1900 campsite.
- Camp overnight.
Day 06
Trek to Efogi Main Village
- Trek towards Efogi Main Village.
- Meet and interact with the local indigenous communities along the track.
- Camp overnight.
Day 07
Trek to Nauro Village
- Continue trekking to Nauro Village.
- Camp at the new Nauro Village.
Day 08
Trek to Ioribaiwa Village
- Trek to Ioribaiwa Village.
- Enjoy an afternoon sunset view if weather permits.
- Camp overnight.
Day 09
Trek to Goodwater and Imita Base Camp
- Trek to Goodwater and continue to Imita Base Camp.
- Enjoy a refreshing swim in the natural rock pool.
Day 10
Trek to Owers Corner and Return to Port Moresby
- Trek to Owers Corner.
- Meet the pickup vehicle and proceed to Bomana War Cemetery for a historical briefing.
- Return to the Hilton Hotel in Port Moresby for a wash-up and preparation for the next day's international departure.
