Day 01

Morogoro to Udzungwa Trek and Overnight in Mikumi

• Early morning pickup from your hotel in Morogoro.
• Enjoy a scenic drive to Udzungwa Mountains National Park.
• Receive a short briefing at the park gate before beginning the trek.
• Hike through rainforest trails, encountering endemic plants, butterflies, and primates, including the Udzungwa red colobus.
• Reach either Sanje Waterfalls or Prince Bernard Falls, where you can enjoy photography, relaxation, and optional swimming in the natural pools.
• Have lunch before driving to Mikumi National Park.
• Check in at TANAPA Cottages, relax, shower, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in the park.

Day 02

Sunrise Game Drive in Mikumi and Return to Morogoro

• Set out early for a sunrise game drive across Mikumi National Park.
• Explore the Mkata Floodplain, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, hippos, and other wildlife.
• Visit the hippo pools for close-up views of hippos and crocodiles.
• Enjoy photography and wildlife observation throughout the drive.
• Exit the park and drive back to Morogoro.
