5-Day Chobe and Hwange National Park Safari
Day 1: Hwange National Park
Hwange National Park is the largest natural reserve in Zimbabwe, covering a total area of 14,600 square kilometres of sandy soil, grasslands, acacia woodlands, and teak forests. It lies in the northwest of the country. We visit the Painted Dog Project and learn more about these remarkable animals.
Route: Victoria Falls to Dete - 290 km - 4 hours.
Accommodation: Miombo Safari Camp or similar.
Meals: LDB.

Optional activities: Afternoon and night game drive on the concession.
Day 2: Hwange National Park
Hwange is known for one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, especially elephant and buffalo, and for its year-round wildlife viewing. In the morning, we depart for a full-day game drive in search of wildlife in Hwange National Park. It is well known for its big herds of elephants found around waterholes and loops.

Day 3: Chobe National Park
Chobe National Park is renowned for its high population of migratory elephants. A sunset boat cruise is one of the must-not-miss activities in Chobe National Park, as it adds a special touch to your safari. The Chobe River provides a very broad habitat for birdlife, and it is possible to see many beautiful species.
Route: Dete (Hwange) to Kasane - 6 hours - 290 km.
Accommodation: Tlou Safari Lodge or similar.
Meals: LDB.
Facilities: Single, twin, double, triple, and family room.
Highlights included: Sunset boat cruise.
Optional activities: Kazungula Bridge tour, mid-morning and night game drive.
Day 4: Chobe National Park
Experience abundant wildlife in Chobe National Park, home to Africa's largest concentration of elephants, as well as buffalo, impalas, the legendary fish eagle, and more birdlife along the river. As we continue searching for wildlife, the morning and afternoon game drives will meander along the banks of the Chobe River.

Day 5: Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is also known as Mosi-OA-Tunya, which means "The Smoke That Thunders" in the local Tonga language, highlighting the powerful mist and noise created by the falls. The mist from the falls creates a unique microclimate, supporting a rainforest ecosystem on the surrounding cliffs. In the morning, we will do a morning game drive before heading back to Victoria Falls to end our safari.
