1
Day 01

Victoria Falls Dinner Cruise and Guided Falls Experience

Day 1. Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls is also known as Mosi-OA-Tunya, which means "The Smoke That Thunders" in the local Tonga language, highlighting the powerful mist and noise created by the falls. The mist from the falls creates a unique microclimate, supporting a rainforest ecosystem on the surrounding cliffs. You will be picked up at Victoria Falls International Airport and transferred to your overnight accommodation, preparing for the late afternoon dinner cruise.

Day 2. Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered one of the largest and most famous waterfall systems in the world. The area around Victoria Falls is known for various adrenaline-pumping activities such as bungee jumping, white-water rafting, and many more.

Day 02

Chobe River Cruise and Wildlife Game Drives

Day 3. Chobe National Park.

Chobe National Park is renowned for its high population of migratory elephants. A sunset boat cruise is one of the must-not-miss activities in Chobe National Park, as it adds a special touch to your safari. The Chobe River provides a broad habitat for birdlife, and it is possible to see many beautiful species.

Route: Victoria Falls to Kasane - 2 hours - 90 km.

Day 4. Chobe National Park.

Experience an abundance of wildlife in Chobe National Park. It is home to Africa's largest concentration of elephants, as well as buffalos, impalas, the legendary fish eagle, and more birdlife along the river. As we continue searching for wildlife, the morning and afternoon game drives will meander along the banks of the Chobe River.

Day 03

Makgadikgadi Salt Pans Sunset Visit

Day 5. Makgadikgadi Salt Pans.

The Makgadikgadi Salt Pans are among the largest salt pans in the world and display a unique expanse of landscape with fascinating natural scenic beauty, featuring a flat, white, baked, and seemingly featureless surface. The area covers a total of 30,000 square kilometers.

Route: Kasane to Nata - 5 hours - 320 km.

Accommodation: Nata Lodge or similar.

Meals: LDB.

Highlights included: Makgadikgadi Salt Pans visit for sunset.

Day 04

Maun to Okavango Delta Mokoro and Bush Camping

Day 6. Maun.

In the morning, we drive to Maun, Botswana's tourism center, to prepare for the Okavango Delta excursion. There is an opportunity to do an optional scenic flight over the Okavango Delta.

Route: Nata to Maun - 320 km - 5 hours.

Accommodation: Sedia Hotel or similar.

Meals: LDB.

Facilities: Single / Twin / Double / Triple and Family room.

Optional activities: Helicopter or scenic flight over the Okavango Delta, museum.

Day 7. Okavango Delta.

The Okavango Delta is the world's largest inland delta. The Okavango River has no outlet to the sea, so it empties into the sands of the Kalahari Desert, irrigating some 1600 km. This is a truly spectacular and unforgettable experience where animals are not familiar with people. It is a true wilderness area where both animals and people co-exist. Early in the morning after breakfast, we head off to the Okavango Delta, getting into a 4x4 that drops us at the edges of the Delta. From there, we continue by mokoro, the local transport, taking us to the island where we will stay overnight and also do nature walks.

Camping: Bush camping.

Highlights included: Mokoro ride and nature walk.

Day 8. Maun.

Maun is the gateway to the Okavango Delta, Moremi, and the Kalahari Desert for many tourists in Botswana. It is the administrative centre of Ngamiland District and the seat of power of the Batawana people. After our long morning nature walk and Delta experience, we ride our mokoro back to Maun.

Day 05

Elephant Sands Waterhole Viewing and Return to Victoria Falls

Day 9. Elephant Sands.

Elephant Sands is a conservancy in Botswana. Elephant Sands drills boreholes to provide supplemental water for the animals as they traverse the land, escaping threats of human-wildlife conflict, poaching, and drought. Elephants congregate at the natural waterhole right in front of the lodge.

Route: Maun to Nata - 6 hours - 370 km.

Accommodation: Elephant Sands Lodge or similar.

Highlights included: Watching elephants drinking at the waterhole and afternoon game drive.

Day 10. Victoria Falls.

Victoria Falls serves as a natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, with approximately two-thirds of the falls located in Zimbabwe.
