- Guests are picked up from their accommodation in Praia or nearby areas and driven to the peaceful rural village of Fonte Lima on Santiago Island.
- Receive a warm welcome from local women artisans and learn about the deep cultural roots of pottery in Cape Verdean life.
- Begin your hands-on pottery session under the guidance of skilled craftswomen.
- Work with raw clay, shape your own design, and decorate your handmade pottery piece using traditional techniques passed down through generations.
- Engage in cultural exchange and enjoy conversations with local artisans about their craft, community, and daily life.
- Take a short walk through the village to observe local life and the scenic surroundings.
- After the workshop, enjoy a traditional Cape Verdean brunch with local dishes such as couscous, catchupa, and fresh fruit prepared by the community.
- Say farewell to your hosts and return to your accommodation with your finished pottery piece, or arrange collection after firing.
