Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Luanda and Flight to Lubango
- Arrive in Luanda and meet the group and tour leader (for groups of 8+).
- Domestic flight to Lubango.
Overnight at Kimbo do Soba Hotel, Lubango (B&B).

Day 2 – Oncocua: Ovatua Settlement
- Drive to Oncocua (approx. 5 hours, route may vary by season).
- Visit village market and social centre to meet Muhimba, Muhacaona, Mudimbas, Mutwa, and Mugambue peoples.
Overnight camping in Vatua village (F&B).

Day 3 – Oncocua: Village Life
- Full day exploring daily life, crafts, and market activities.
- Camping near the village (F&B).

Day 4 – Muhimba and Muhacaona Settlements
- Visit Muhimba and Muhacaona communities.
- Learn about livestock livelihoods, hairstyles, beadwork, and customary practices.
Overnight camping in Muhacaona or Himba village (F&B).

Day 5 – Oncocua: Humbe – Ngambue – Chibia
- Depart to meet the Humbi people and learn about initiation rituals and hairstyles.
- Afternoon drive to Chibia.
Overnight at Obama Lodge.

Day 6 – Chibia: Mucuma & Camucuvi Markets
Visit Mumwila communities and learn about jewelry and ‘nontombi’ hairstyle traditions.
Afternoon camping near Mucuma village (F&B).

Day 7 – Lubango: Serra da Leba – Mangueiras – Garganta
Drive the scenic Serra da Leba road (EN280).
Stop at Mangueiras market and continue to Bibala, Garganta, and Munhino.
Meet Ngendelengo communities and camp nearby.

Day 8 – Garganta – Namibe
Observe Ngendelengo morning routines.
Drive to Namibe and explore coastal and desert landscapes.
Accommodation at Casa2.

Day 9 – Namibe – Virei – Tchitundo Hulo
Drive to Virei (approx. 5 hours) with market stop.
Visit Tchitundo Hulo rock formations and cave paintings.
Camp near the caves (F&B).

Day 10 – Virei – Namibe
Visit Mucubal cemetery with hundreds of horns marking graves.
Return to Namibe for accommodation.

Day 11 – Kamilunga Red Canyon – Lagoa do Arco – Tombua
- 4×4 adventure in Namibe coastal desert.
- Visit Kamilunga Canyon and Lagoa do Arco (water levels permitting).
- Explore Tombua fishing town and return to Namibe.

Day 12 – Namibe – Luanda
- Free morning in Namibe.
- Transfer to Namibe airport for flight to Luanda..
Overnight in Luanda.

Day 13 – Luanda City Tour and Departure
- Visit Moon View Point, arts and crafts markets, Military Museum, Iron Palace, and other landmarks.
- Transfer to Luanda airport for international departure.
