Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Gorilla trekking is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to observe mountain gorillas in their natural habitat the trek can last 2–6 hours depending on the gorilla family’s location.

Relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi after the trek unwind by the serene lake enjoy canoe rides and soak in the stunning island views.

Scenic drives through terraced hills villages and lush forests.

Weather is generally cool 10°C–25°C rain can occur anytime even during the dry season pack a light rain jacket.

Minimum age for gorilla trekking is 15 years.

Treks are conducted in groups led by trained rangers and guides.

Keep a 7-meter distance from the gorillas at all times.

No flash photography is allowed.

Maintain silence and avoid sudden movements.

If feeling unwell cold flu or cough you will not be allowed to trek to protect the gorillas.

Porters are available hiring one helps local communities and makes your trek easier.

Always follow ranger and guide instructions.

Avoid feeding or touching any wild animals.
