Discover Tomar, Templar town with its Castle and Convent of Christ, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site from the 12th century. This operated as the headquarters of the Knights Templar in Portugal, thereafter known as the Knights of Christ.

Climb one of the most wonderful aqueducts in Portugal, the Aqueduct Pegues; a magnificent work from the 17th century which is 6 km long.

Visit the historic center of Tomar and see its two Templar Churches and the synagogue of Tomar, as the Jews were great allies of the Templars: São João Baptista, 16th century, and Santa Maria Olival, 12th century, a funerary pantheon of the Knights Templar.
