Day 1- Huaraz (3100 m) – Yungay town (2500 m) – Cebollapampa camp (3900 m) – Pisco base camp (4665 m) expand_more
Depart from Huaraz at 6:00 am and head towards the north side along Callejon de Huaylas valley until Yungay town.
Turn east to continue driving up toward Llanganuco valley passing on the way by beautiful couple glacier lakes.
At Cebollapampa, take donkey and donkey driver service for loading the climbing gear until the base camp at 46650 m.
Overnight camp at base camp.

Have early breakfast at 1:00.
Start walking up toward the Pisco summit at 5752 m. After 3 hours, pass the rocky Moraine side and be at the glacier edge.
Reach the top, after 4 hours of climbing up. On the summit, see more than 10 other summits, which are over 6,000 meters high including the giant mount Huascarán.
Come back to the camping spot. Spend the last night, camping at the base camp.

Pick up the climbing gear after a hearty breakfast. Walk down until Cebollapampa, where the private transport will be waiting to go back to Huaraz.

- This summit is the most perfect for acclimatization with easy difficulty in climbing up on the normal route on the west ridge. Offer a breathtaking mountain view from the summit, surrounded by huge snowcapped peaks like Huandoy mountain, Huascarán mounts, Chopicalqui mountain, Yanapaccha mountain, Chacraraju mountain, Piramide Garcilaso mountain, Caraz mountain and impressive lovely mount Alpamayo.
Maximum altitude: 5752 m. (Pisco summit).
Difficulty: Moderate.
Duration: 3 days / 2 nights.
Preferred time: May – September.
Average temperature: Between 13° C – 23° C during the day/ at night -05°C to – 02°C.
