  • Trek to Phakding, one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Traverse Namche Bazaar, also known as the gate of Everest
  • Explore Lukla, a popular place for visitors to the Himalayas
  • Day 1: Kathmandu to Lukla to Phakding expand_more
    • Early morning, after breakfast, take a flight to Lukla from Kathmandu and commence to Phakding.
    • Enjoy views of landscape of Dudh koshi, Kongde, Numbur, and Kusum Kanguru.

    (35 minutes fly in and walk for 3-4 hrs)

  • Day 2: Phakding to Namche expand_more
    • Have breakfast and be ready for Namche.

    • Walk 5-6 hrs through Dhudh koshi river bed and climb 2:30 minutes after crossing the suspension bridge.

    • Reach the gateway to Everest.

  • Day 3: Namche / Acclimatising expand_more
    • You need well acclimatisation so that you can hike and walk around side trip of  Namche.

    • Climb till the Everest view hotel in Syangboche.

    • Take a glance at the panorama of Khumbu region and pastures.

  • Day 4: Namche to Tyangboche expand_more
    • Visit the Buddhist shrines in Tyangboche to witness the monk lifestyle. Feel the spiritual and natural significance of the land of Sherpa and Tibetan costumes.

  • Day 5: Tyangboche to Dingboche expand_more
    • Trek upwards to Dingboche. Witness the wildlife and livestock in highland.

  • Day 6: Dingoche to Lobuche expand_more
    • Watch as your movements and pace slow down as you push to attempt the highland and its fantasy towards Lobuche.

  • Day 7: Lobuche to Gorakshep to EBC expand_more
    • This is a big challenge as you move forward in your attempt for optimum serenity and tranquillity of your journey to the abode of snow and god.

    • Trek from Lobuche to the Everest Base Camp.

  • Day 8: Gorakshep to Kalapatthar to Pheriche expand_more
    • Measure the steps while glancing at the highest top in the sky. Feel the goal of your whole journey, conquering the trip to Everest.

    • Hike up to Kalapatthar and then down to Pheriche. 

  • Day 9: Pheriche to Namche expand_more
    • Get down to yet another destination towards the ancient civilization and see its western transformation in the lap of the Himalayas.

    • Trek from Pheriche to Namche.

  • Day 10: Namche to Phakding expand_more
    • The trip comes almost to the end as you reach Phakding from Namche.

  • Day 11: Phakding to Lukla expand_more
    • Prepare to pack up and return.

  • Day 12: Lukla to Kathmandu expand_more
    • Enjoy the wonderful Himalayan flight as you fly over the massive snow-capped mountains from Lukla to Kathmandu.

Know before you go

About clothing

  • Footwear: Good Quality/tough walking shoes, thick socks, camp shoes.

  • Clothing: Down or fibre filled waterproof jacket and trousers, sweater or fleece jacket, underwear, warm and cotton trousers or jeans, shirts and T-shirts, shorts, long underwear, wool hat, sun hat, gloves, bathing suit, tracksuit.

  • Other equipments: Sleeping bag (4 seasons), trekking hold all or stash sack with lock, daypack, water bottle, sun cream, sunglasses, flashlight with spare bulbs and batteries, lip salve.

  • Other items: Insect repellent, toilet articles, diary, toilet roll, laundry soap, wet ones, pocket knife, tie cord, towel, sewing kit, plasters, binoculars, camera, film, cards and personal medical kit.
