Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu expand_more
Pick-up from Kathmandu airport and transfer to your hotel.
- Check into your hotel, freshen up and attend a briefing covering essential information about your trip/
- Proceed to the welcome dinner and enjoy authentic Nepalese cuisine.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara expand_more
Board a tourist bus and drive across one of Nepal's most interesting and picturesque highways towards Pokhara. You will pass many farms, villages, and towns with spectacular views of the mountains on this 6-7 hour journey.
Upon arrival in Pokhara, check-in to a hotel near the beautiful Fewa Lake.
Overnight stay in Pokhara.

Day 3: Drive to Nayapul & Trek to Tirkedhunga expand_more
After breakfast, continue on a one and half hour drive to Nayapul, the meeting point for the day's trek.
Begin your trek across the Modi river, going through villages, farms, and beautiful waterfalls, to reach Birethanti.
Continue on a gentle walk to Tirkedungha.
Overnight stop in a comfortable teahouse or lodge.

Day 4: Thikhedhunga to Ghorepani expand_more
After breakfast, ascend to the Ghorepani village. The name Ghorepani in Nepali means ‘horse water' - the village got the name due to the role it played as an important campsite for traders before it became a trekker's stop. Ghorepani is an interesting place with small shops and stalls selling local products and crafts. The town has two parts, one in a saddle and the other a few hundred feet below.
Stop at the higher part of the Ghorepani village that offers panoramic views of the surrounding mountains including Annapurna South and Nilgiri Dhawalagiri mountains. Since Ghorepani lies quite higher than our previous stop, the weather will get chilly, especially in the evenings.

Day 5: Ghorepani to Tadapani & Poon Hill expand_more
To catch the sunrise over the Himalayas, wake up early in the morning and go for a climb along the steep trail to the viewpoint of Poon Hill (3210m/10529ft). It is the most popular trekking destination in the Annapurna region. It is also a great viewpoint to enjoy the amazing views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest mountains, including the close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
After taking photographs and having some coffee/tea/hot chocolate, return to Ghorepani.
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and then head out east to climb a nearby ridge.
Descend through rhododendron forests, pass by spectacular waterfalls along the way, and reach Tadapani to spend the night.

Day 6: Tadapani to Ghandruk expand_more
Wake up in the morning and set out for Ghandruk village. It will be an easy walk on a downhill trek through rhododendron forests.
Passing through beautiful waterfalls, stop for food and then continue walking till Ghandruk.
Upon arrival, rest awhile take before going for a visit to the local Culture Museum.

Overnight stay in Ghandruk.

Day 7: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul & drive to Pokhara expand_more
Trek to Nayapul from Ghandruk Village and end the trek there.
Drive back to Pokhara.
Optional: Climb to Sarangkot hill, which is famous for adventurous paragliding.
Explore Pokhara City and get a good night's sleep at your hotel.

Day 8: Pokhara to Kathmandu expand_more
Enjoy a hearty breakfast in the morning and enjoy some leisure time.
Depart from Pokhara on an overland drive back to Kathmandu.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.

Day 9: Departure expand_more
Wake up in the morning and enjoy your last breakfast on the trip.
Depart for the airport approximately 3 hours before your flight out of Kathmandu.
