8:45 am.: Pick up from the hotel lobby.
9.00 am.: Visit the famous award-winning tropical Spice Garden, which sits on an 8-acre site on the hilly terrain of Teluk Bahang.
Visit the Bamboo Garden, sip herbal tea sweetened with Stevia; a natural sweetener.
10:30 am.: Depart to The Nutmeg Factory. Continue to Nutmeg Factory at Balik Pulau to marvel at the gift of nature, the Nutmeg fruit - two spices in one package. Nutmeg is an actual nut hidden in a hard shell with a blood-red lacy known as Mace wrapping the shell.
Try the sweet nutmeg juice and discover the secret of nutmeg kept from many of us for centuries.
Proceed to Little India, an Indian enclave in the middle of Chinatown, at George Town.
Take a walk through Little India, experience the cultural richness and excitement, and also get to visit the spice shop and spice mill.
The tour ends with lunch at a local Indian restaurant called Tiffin, taste excellent Indian cuisine and drink the famous masala tea or try lassi or buttermilk.
