    • Meet your guide at the Visitors Centre near the ticketing office. Purchase your entrance ticket, then proceed towards the main gate in Wadi Musa.
    • Start your journey towards the entrance of the Siq, Bab al-Siq. Enjoy a leisurely 15-minute walk downhill, surrounded by the region's natural beauty.
    • As you approach the entrance to the Siq, take some time to explore the Obelisk Tomb and Bab As-Siq Triclinium, structures that speak volumes about Petra's rich history.
    • Begin your walk through the Siq. With its stunning natural formations and remnants of Petra's past, this narrow canyon is a sight to behold. Look for the Nabataean water channel on your left and the Nabataean ceramic water pipes on your right.
    • Keep your eyes open for the Cameleer carving on the left side of the Siq as you walk towards the Treasury (Al Khazanah). If you look more carefully beyond, you will see another set of camels heading upwards. These intricate carvings offer a peek into the lives of people who once called Petra home.
    • Arrive at the Treasury (Al Khazanah). Marvel at this intricately carved structure, one of Petra's most recognizable landmarks. Use this time to take photos and explore the area.
    • Continue to the Theatre, a striking construction cut into the side of a mountain. From there, proceed to the Royal Tombs, the final resting places of ancient Nabataean royalty.
    • Visit the Royal Court, an important administrative centre in its time.
    • Walk down the Colonnaded Street towards Qasr al Bint, passing by the Paradesios, the Great Temple, the Roman shops, and Temenos Gate on your way. Each of these locations offers unique insights into the culture and history of Petra.
    • Arrive at Qasr al Bint, one of Petra's best-preserved and most complete structures. Spend some time exploring this ancient temple, then prepare to head back to the Visitors Centre.
    • Return to the Visitors Centre at a relaxed pace. This uphill walk offers a different perspective of the landscape you pass on your way in.
    • Wrap up your tour at the Visitors Centre. Your guide will be happy to answer any remaining questions you might have about Petra, its history, or its people.
