1. Explore the Nature, History & Culture of Bohinj Valley

   • Meet your guide in the heart of Ribčev Laz. As you gather, the guide will provide a brief introduction to Bohinj, its history, and its significance in Slovenia.
   • Take a leisurely stroll around Ribčev Laz, one of the most picturesque and well-known villages in the Bohinj Valley. Learn about the local way of life, admire the traditional Slovenian architecture, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
   • Make your way to the Church of Saint John the Baptist, a key landmark in Ribčev Laz. Learn about its history and significance to the locals, and hear the intriguing story about the painting of Saint John with six toes on each foot.
   • Visit the Monument of the Four Brave Men dedicated to the first four Slovenians who climbed Mount Triglav. The guide will share their story and explain why this monument is important to the locals.
