- Start the tour at the Roman Bridge, which connects to some Ottoman-era houses located along the defensive walls of the city. From here, you can see the historical site of Harsena Castle. As you go further into the city, the guide will enthral you with myths, historical legends, and stories related to the traditions that still prevail in Amasya.
- Visit the Sultan Bayezid Mosque Complex, whose courtyard is coloured with the foliage of beautiful maple trees. The mosque is home to a fountain used for ablutions, a birdhouse, a Madrasah with special acoustic architecture, and a kitchen where food is made for all and served free of charge.
- Head towards King Rock Tombs. This place features over 21 tombs, five of which we can visit, as well as a canon on top that is still used during Ramadan to signal devotees to break their fast. After exploring this area, take a deep dive into Turkish tradition with a visit to a 500-year-old Hamam or communal Turkish bathhouse.
- Pass a railway tunnel from the 1930s that is sometimes used as a prison. Make another stop at Bimarhane, the first medical school in the city where attendants treat patients with the sounds of water, birds, and musical instruments.
- End the tour near the river at a spot that offers a panoramic view of the Clock Tower and various government buildings located on the other side.
