    • Start the tour in Thamel, a popular tourist district known for its vibrant street life and colourful shops. Spend about an hour exploring the area, browsing the shops and soaking in the atmosphere.
    • From Thamel, head to Ason, a busy market area where locals come to shop for everything from fresh produce to spices and textiles. Spend around 30 minutes exploring the market and trying some of the local snacks and street food.
    • Next, make your way to Kathmandu Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city. Spend about an hour wandering through the complex, admiring the temples, palaces, and courtyards.
    • After exploring Durbar Square, take a leisurely stroll through the narrow streets of Freak Street, a historic area that was once the center of Kathmandu's counterculture scene in the 1960s and 70s. Spend around 30 minutes here, taking in the sights and sounds of this unique neighbourhood.
    • From Freak Street, take a car ride to Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple, one of the most important Buddhist sites in Nepal. Spend around an hour exploring the temple complex, climbing the stairs to the stupa, and enjoying the panoramic views of Kathmandu Valley.
    • Finally, head back to Thamel, where the tour will end. You can spend some time relaxing and reflecting on the day's adventures or continue exploring the area on your own.
