Description
Experience the best of Iquiots, starting with a walk around downtown's old buildings, landscapes, and people. After that, head to the Bellavista Nanay market to see exotic products and learn about local gastronomy. Enjoy a boat ride on the longest river in the world, the Amazon, and stop at a natural reserve called "La Isla De Los Monos" (Monkey Island), where you can learn about medicinal plants and observe different monkey species.

See the Best of Iquitos
- Meet the guide at the hotel and take a brief walk arround downtown to learn about the largest metropolis of the world without land connection, nice old buildings, landscapes and people.
- Then, transfer to the Bellavista Nanay Port and market. Walk around the market to see exotic products arriving every day from the jungle and learn about the local gastronomy and fruits from the jungle.
- Next, we will embark on an adventurous journey along the longest river in the world, with a quick stop at the intersection of the Nanay and Amazon rivers. Search for river dolphins and watch beautiful landscapes. Then travel the longest river in the world, "AMAZON".
- Along the way, we will have to stop to visit Fundo Pedrito, a farm and refuge of Amazon wildlife care by a river village family where you will have the chance to watch and feed the dangerous Piranha and the largest fish of the Amazon Paiche (arapaima gigas), watch alligators, river turtles, giant aquatic plants (victoria Amazonica).
- Continue exploring the Amazon as we get to see interesting landscapes, villages, and birds. We will arrive at La Isla De Los Monos (monkey island), a natural reserve located about 40 km north of Iquitos cared for by people who rescue and release different monkey species such as red howlers, capuchins, tamarins, tities, squirrels, sakis, etc. Walk through the reserve and learn about medicinal plants, giant trees, flowers and more.
- Later, when we will travel back to the city, we will stop to visit a small village which belongs to the Yagua tribe, an ancient family living along the Amazon, where you wil learn about their daily activities and clothing, dance with them and purchase some presents for your family.
