- Meet the tour guide, who will share with us some of the major historical sites and charming beauty of Hanoi city.
- We will begin our tour at The Presidential Palace of Vietnam, built between 1900 and 1906 to house the French Governor-General of Indochina. It was constructed by Auguste Henri Vildieu, the official French architect for French Indochina. Like most French Colonial architecture, the palace is pointedly European.
- Next, we will visit President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the resting place of the greatest Vietnamese Leader, Ho Chi Minh, in Hanoi. It is a large building located in the center of Ba Dinh square, where President Ho (Uncle Ho) read the Declaration of Independence on 2nd September 1945, establishing the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
- We will then visit The National Assembly Building of Vietnam, also known as the New Ba Đình Hall, which is a public building located on Ba Đình Square across from the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The building is used by the National Assembly of Vietnam for its sessions and other official functions. And while walking around, the guide will show us a full panorama view of this area, well known as the French Quarter site in Hanoi.
- On the next leg of our tour, we will ride on a scooter to experience the traffic of Hanoi, which might be crazy and chaotic but is a lot of fun to mingle in.
- Finally, we will end our tour at Hanoi Train Street, with railway tracks running about 1 km alongside residential buildings. The highly unusual sight of a train running several hundred meters on these tracks charms and fascinates hundreds of thousands of tourists from within and outside the country every year. This is the perfect place to end our tour and say our goodbyes.
