- Meet the guide and go on a scenic walking tour down the streets of San Jose in Costa Rica. The guide will show us around the city from a local perspective while offering glimpses into its rich architecture, nature and history.
- Our journey will begin at the San Jose Cathedral, the city's main cathedral and the center point of downtown. From there, we will visit the colourful Central Market and walk through the 200+ shops it houses, which are famous for selling a kaleidoscopic range of wares, from food, goods, medicinal plants and herbal remedies.
- Next, we will see several historical buildings, such as the National Theatre, and brilliant inner-city parks, such as the Parque Nacional. The guide will help us explore some interesting trees in the area and explain the medicinal properties for which they are known.
