• The tour begins with a visit to the Angor Thom temple complex in the morning. See the following attractions with your Siem Reap tour guide:

  • South Gate: the best-preserved part of the complex, it is a grand structure lined with carved faces and figurines.

  • Bayon: a Khmer Buddhist temple believed to have been built around the 12th or 13 th century. 

  • Baphuon: a three-tiered temple, supposed to have been built in the mid 11th century.

  • Royal Palace: built by king Suryavarman I and used continuously from the 11th to the late 16th century AD by the Khmer dynasty.

  • Phimeanakas: is a Hindu temple built at the end of the 10th century, during the reign of Rajendravarman and completed by Suryavarman I.

  •  Elephant's Terrace: this is the terrace believed to have been used by Jayavarman VII to see his returning, victorious army. 

  • Leper King's Terrace: the terrace of the king Dharmaraja. 

• After a break for lunch, we proceed to the Angor Wat Temple complex. We partake in the following activities here:

  • Angkor Wat: a Buddhist temple in Cambodia, this is the largest religious site in the world. 

  • Sunset on Bakheng Hill: a breathtaking sight as you bring your magical day to a close. 

After breakfast, set out to spend this day exploring the Prasat Kravan, which houses a set of 5 red brick towers. The highlights would be:

• Banteay Kdei: translating to 'a citadel of monks' cells', this is an ancient Buddhist temple that monks pray at even today.

• Ta Phrom: this is the modern name given to a 12th century Bayon temple. Originally, it was known as 'Rajavihara' or Monastery of the King.

• Ta Keo: a temple mountain that is believed to have been the first work in sandstone by the Khmers.

• Thommanon: a pair of Hindu temples constructed during Suryavarman's reign.

• Chau Say Tevoda: built in the mid 12th century, this temple is dedicated to the Hindu gods Shiva and Vishnu.

After a break for lunch, proceed to Preah Khan. Head towards:

• Neak Pean: an artificial island that is home to a small Buddhist temple. 
• Ta Som: a temple built in honour of the Khmer ruler who reigned from 1150 to 1160.
• East Mebon: a 10th-century temple built during the reign of Rajendravarman.

This day we set out to visit the following sites in the morning, after breakfast:

• Preah Ko: the first temple to have been built in the Hariharalaya area which is now defunct.
• Bakong: the first temple mountain of sandstone to have been erected by the Khmers.
• Lolei: northernmost temple of the Rolous group.

After lunch, proceed to the following sites:

• Banteay Samre: a Hindu temple built in the classic Angkor Wat style. 

• Banteay Srei: a 10th-century Cambodian temple made in honour of the Hindu God Shiva. 

• Pre Rup: a Hindu temple built in the early 961 or 962.

• After breakfast, set out for a trek to Beng Mealea temple located in a jungle of the same name, which sits near the once-grand Preah Khan Kompong Svay highway.

• After lunch, proceed with a tour to the Floating Village (Tonle Sap Lake); with its floating eateries, homes, and a full-fledged market, this village is a popular tourist destination.
