Day 01

Arrival in Baghdad

Arrival at Baghdad International Airport.
Meet and transfer to your accommodation.

Day 02

Baghdad City Tour and Madain

Visit the National Museum, the Statue of Liberty at Tahrir Square, and the Martyrs Monument.
Head northeast to visit Madain, the Arch of Ctesiphon, and the Abbasid Middle Gate.

Overnight in Baghdad.

Day 03

Samarra Excursion and Karrada

Start early and head north to Samarra.
Visit the Minaret Shrine, the Great Mosque and Malwiya (a UN heritage site), and the Archaeological City of Samarra.
Return to Baghdad.
Enjoy a free afternoon in the trendy shopping district of Karrada.

Overnight in Baghdad.

Day 04

Babylon and Hillah

Head south toward Hillah.
Visit the old historical city of Babylon, the base of the Hanging Gardens (a UN heritage site), Saddam Hussain Palace, and the tongue statue of Borssipa.

Overnight in Baghdad.

Day 05

West Baghdad and Departure

Head west/north-west towards Abu Ghraib Road.
Visit Dur-kurigalzu and the ancient city of Agergoof.
Return to Baghdad.
Head to Baghdad Airport for departure.

A visa or stamp to Israel or the self-ruled territories, used or unused, valid or invalid, will lead to immediate entry refusal at all Iraqi ports of entry, even if the traveler is carrying a valid entry visa and even if he or she is travelling on a group visa.
Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months and must have at least three blank pages.
