Sonam is an exceptional person. He led our party (5 people / male & female) across a difficult, multiple day trek. Sonam was gentle, kind, attentive, but above all - Soname got me over the most difficult Mountain Passes that I have ever climbed! He is a caring, super-knowledgeable guide. He is passionately linked to Bhutan's culture & history.Sonam is a uniquely educated yet spiritual man whom is capable of explaining patiently the wondrous facets of Buddhism and Nature. During our tour in Bhutan in October 2012 Sonam was our guide. He did a very good job with our group the whole time we travelled together. For me as an asthmatic person, Sonam did all the possible help, and I felt well looked after. He speaks well english and the communication was excellent. I would travel again with him! Sonam was our guide during a three-week tour of Bhutan. We found he was a very good guide and everything went very well. In addition, he handled various problems that arose from our side skillfully: part of the group did not want to take the second trek as planned, and a couple had to return to Europe from the East due to a death in the family. Both occasions were organized quickly and successfully. I have had occasion to meet Sonam during further stays in the country and can recommend him as a serious-minded and friendly person.
