Our days in Abarkuh with Mansor

Reviewed July 1, 2018

While travelling around Iran on our own, we met Mansour in Abarkuh, on our way to Shiraz. He was an excellent tour guide, showing us those special attractions there, like the icehouse, the thousands of years old cypress, the quanats out in the desert, and others.

It was a really remarkable event, climbing down the quanats and walk there for a while....

But the best of all had been the visit at the nomad familiy. It was incredible - we felt so welcome; we felt like members of the familiy.

If you are looking for an excellent englisch speaking  guide, with a huge knowledge of history and old cultures, and a big wisdom , concerning the nomades and their lives, you have to choose Mansour.

Your unique trip will be unforgettable.

Amazing experience!!

Wow, mansour really made my short trip to Iran incredible. He showed me around Yazd and was flexible to suit what I was looking for. I love history, so he took the time to explain  the history and importance of everything we visited (Qanats, tower of silence, wind towers, markets and lots of other things/places) and he helped me to have a very nice experince eating with a local family. It's difficult to find a tour so genuine and unique - especially one that is so affordable  to do myself. Highly recommend - can't wait to go back!
